Clinical cases: learning from real situations

This section presents, for educational purposes, situations met in consultation: how we reason, which examinations are useful, what decision is taken and what to take away. Every case is anonymised and published with the patient's written consent. The first cases will be published soon.

Clinical cases: learning from real situations

Why present cases?

A concrete case helps you understand a medical approach better than a list of tips. It shows that every situation is individual.

Anonymity and consent

No case is published without the patient's written consent. Name, exact age, place, dates and any detail that could identify her are removed or changed.

What a case contains

The reason for consultation, the approach, the examinations done, the decision taken, the outcome and what to take away.

What we do not publish

No before/after photos, no intimate images, no promise of results, no comparison with other clinics.

Frequently asked questions

Can my case be published without my agreement?

No. No case is published without your written consent, and you can withdraw it.

Are images shown?

Only, with your agreement, images of examinations that cannot identify you. Never intimate images or before/after.

Does a presented case promise the same for my situation?

No. Every situation is individual: a case illustrates an approach and guarantees no result.

Also of interest

Informational content: it does not replace a consultation. No outcome can be guaranteed.
